<p>The invention relates to a fibrous web containing a filler and to a method for manufacturing the same. The fibrous web containing the filler comprises a substance, which is in a granular form and has a rotationally symmetrical shape and an inner part and a crust part, whereby the density of the inner part is lower than the crust part. The granule contains pigment particles that are interconnected by means of a binder. According to the invention, the fibrous web can be, for example, a paper, board or non-woven web. The fibrous web has a good tensile strength and good fire resistance properties.</p> |
