<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device capable of eliminating curling in paper without specially providing a decurling mechanism inside the device. <P>SOLUTION: When eliminating curling generated in printed paper, this device is set in a decurling mode. The printed paper is set on a supply paper cassette 40 or a manual feed tray 45, with a printed face downward, and a start key is pushed, so that the printed paper is fed into a paper carrying passage by a pick-up roller 42 or 46 in accordance with the set place of the paper. When the printed paper passes between a photosensitive drum 33 and a transfer roller 21, transfer of a toner image is not conducted. When it passes between a heat roller 23 and a press roller 25 next, it is heated by the heat roller 23. By this heat, the curling in the printed paper is eliminated. The printed paper after elimination of the curling is discharged by a discharge roller 43 onto a discharged paper tray 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
