PURPOSE:A backlight of a liquid crystal display is provided to prevent a high temperature or pin-holes generated at electrodes of the light emitting lamp when a light emitting lamp emits, thereby improving the reliability of the light emitting lamp. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of light emitting lamps(21) have electrodes formed at both ends. A plurality of electrodes(22) are formed at both ends of the light emitting lamp. A plurality of electrode connecting lines(23) are electrically connected with the electrodes for applying external power source. A contact length(X) of the electrode connecting line with the electrode is more than 20 % of a length(Y) of the electrode formed at both ends of the light emitting lamp. |
