MESSAGE SERVICE SYSTEM, AND CONTAINING CHANGE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message service system for transmitting only a newest message to a reception terminal in the case of particularly changing a message contained in a message storage device. SOLUTION: An information transmission server 93 transmits a message M1 addressed to a subscriberαto a storage device A. The storage device A transmits the message M1 to the subscriberα. In the case of changing the storage device A into a storage device B to store the message addressed to the subscriberαbecause the storage limit of the storage device A is exceeded, the subscriberαand the storage device B are registered in containing change information stored in the storage device A. The storage device A receiving the message addressed to the subscriberαcaused after that instructs the information transmission server 93 to retransmit the message to the storage device B and deletes the message addressed to the subscriberαstored in the storage device A. Thus, transmission of an old message from the storage device A is prevented and the newest message stored in the storage device B is sent to the subscriberα. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
