<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutator device of a vehicle AC generator which can suppress deterioration in a semiconductor of a commutator. <P>SOLUTION: The commutator device (5) of a vehicle AC generator (1) has a semiconductor for converting an AC current to a DC current, and leads (531, 541) connected to the semiconductor, is also provided with commutators (53, 54) each having a sealing portion (61) formed thereon to seal the semiconductor and the leads, heat radiating plates (51, 52) each having a commutator provided thereon and radiating the heat generated in the commutator, and terminals (57) connected to the leads. In this device (5), the terminals (57) are disposed so as to face the portion (61). With this configuration, cooling wind containing water and salt is blown against the terminals. Accordingly, the wind blown against the portion (61) is reduced. In this way, water and salt are prevented from entering into the inside of the portion (61) of each of the commutator (53, 54).
