The heated gun softens sticks of thermoplastic paste. The gun has a handle (1) with a hole (2) at the back to insert a thermoplastic paste stick (3). A trigger (5) advances the stick so that it enters a cylinder heated by an electric heating coil (11). The temperature is set using a sliding potentiometer (12) on the side of the gun.
