PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio telephone set with a digital camera, a photographing method and a program therefor in which photographing can be performed by remote control by picking up the image of a user himself/ herself when the user is located in a distance where the release button of an apparatus can not be pressed. SOLUTION: The portable radio telephone set with the digital camera is provided with a camera control circuit 12, a CPU 10 and a storage circuit 14 and when call incoming from a general digital portable radio telephone set or from a PHS (Personal Handy-phone System) (R) is matched with a preset telephone number, release operation is performed. Therefore, even when the user is located away from the telephone set, photographing can be performed by simple operation without using a remote controller or a self-timer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
