PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device capable of responding to various kind and concentration of gas without exchanging the parts. SOLUTION: In a combustion device 1 which supplies a supply source gas and the air supplied by a fan 20 to a burner 70 for burning, a heat conduction type gas sensor 64 discriminating the kind and the concentration of the supply source gas and a gas amount adjusting means 65 for adjusting a flow of the supply source gas are provided. The kind and the concentration of the supply source gas is discriminated according to the heat conduction type gas sensor 64, and an amount of the supply source gas and the air corresponding to the kind and the concentration of the supply source gas discriminated by adjusting and controlling at least either the gas amount adjusting means 65 or the fan 20 based on the discrimination result are supplied to the burner 70 and burned.
