PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good and uniform contact by preventing a floating moving member by engaging a hook nail formed on a socket main body as a base board to the moving member. SOLUTION: A float prevention mechanism, preventing the moving member from floating up when moving, is formed to the IC socket comprising a plurality of clamping contacts forming an electrical connection with a mounted IC package, a socket main body on which, the contact is fixed, and the moving member opening and closing the contact.
