The machine has a frame with hinges (12) joining linkages carrying the rollers. The top and bottom surfaces of each workpiece (8) are covered with glue (13) applied by pressure rollers (1,2). The glue is brought to the workpiece on foil pulled from supply reels (3,4). The foils are pressed against the workpieces by the pressure rollers and are then taken up by power-driven collection reels (5,6). A spring (9) urges the two pressure rollers toward each other, and a lever connected to a handle may be used to move the two pressure rollers apart.
