PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately start to lock a pallet by a lock bar by detecting the insertion of forks into the pallet by a sensor. SOLUTION: An inclined part 21 lowered downward as gradually approaching to the tip is integrally provided in the upper surface of a tip of a lock bar 21 for locking the pallet 6. When the fork 2 is inserted into the pallet 6, the inclined part 22 of the lock bar 21 abuts on the end face of the pallet 6 and rotates downward. When the fork 2 is further intruded into the pallet 6, the inclined part 22 of the lock bar 21 is completely entered into the pallet 6. In this state, a ground detecting sensor 44 is turned on by a magnet 42 provided in the side of in the lock bar 21. The lock bar 21 is immediately driven by a pallet detecting signal by the ground detection sensor 44 and enters into a lock action. Thereby, the tip of the lock bar 21 pressurizes or press-contacts the upper surface of a lower part deck board 6b of the pallet 6 to lock the pallet 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
