PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for packaging a large number of containers wherein a flexible carrier material is fed to a jaw drum. SOLUTION: A plurality of containers pass through a machine (10), and therefore, a carrier is attached substantially above a plurality of the containers, and the flexible carrier material (15) is engaged with one of the containers to form a package. The machine can be regulated in a manner to correspond to the ranges of a container height and a size, a carrier shape and/or a package scale.
