PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of difference in outputs between a pair of magnetic heads due to difference in azimuth angles of respective magnetic heads, causing flicker in a color signal in an upper portion of a monitor screen when a pair of the magnetic heads, where each of the heads has a same recording/ reproduction efficiency as a single component and each of azimuth angles for gaps of the heads has a same absolute value but a different direction, are mounted on a cylinder and then a video signal is recorded in a magnetic recording/reproduction device. SOLUTION: A pair of magnetic heads where one of the heads having a smaller angle of a magnetization pattern line to a magnetization orientation direction of a magnetic particle in a tape for recording an electromagnetically converted signal, has a 5 to 10% larger recording/reproduction efficiency than that of another magnetic head forming the pair are mounted on a cylinder.
