A measurement instrument (A) is provided with pressing means (C) that, when a measurement tool (S) is placed at a measurement position (D), moves at least either one of the measurement tool (S) and a connector (4) toward the other and press them to each other. This structure prevents defective contact, between the connector (4) and the measurement tool (S), caused by wear of the connector (4).
