<p>A camera server (1) stores frame rate information attached to image data transmission requests received from the clients (A, B, C, and D) via a communication interface unit (30) as well as client information indicating a client who has made the image data transmission requests. Based on the stored client information and frame rate information, the camera server (1) distributes the compressed image data to the clients (A, B, C, and D) at a requested frame rate via the communication interface unit (30), thus making it possible to transfer data in a band suitable for the network to which the clients (A, B, C, and D) belong.</p> |
