PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an image point on a continuous line without setting a marker on the continuous line by finding an intersection of a line connecting image points corresponding to objet points at both sides of the continuous line with the continuous line. SOLUTION: Photogrammetry using images picked up at two or more different positions is carried out, e.g. by a computer system provided with an IC memory card read device of an electronic still camera and a TV monitor. In surveying a roadway, for instance, image points P14 -P18 such as guardrail columns or the like are suitably selected, and straight lines intersecting lines Ca1 , Cb1 and Cc1 indicating lane lines are displayed among the points. Intersections P19 , P110 -P120 of the image points and straight lines are set as image points on the lane lines. Pickup images from different positions are processed in a predetermined manner with the use of the image points and second dimensional coordinate values of a reference scale, etc., whereby a three dimensional coordinate value of each image point are obtained. A survey drawing in which the lane lines are drawn as a continuous line is obtained. |
