<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating cover for a pickle barrel which is excellent in heat reserving and insulating effects and convenient to put in/out pickles in the barrel. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical body and a lid for covering the cylindrical body are formed of a heat insulating material, and an appropriate portion of the cylindrical body and an appropriate portion of the lid are fixedly connected with each other.
