PURPOSE: A device for transferring an urn box is provided to automatically transfer the urn box housing an urn and make a call of condolence in selecting one of urns which are placed in a charnel house or a crypt. CONSTITUTION: A system for automatically selecting and transferring an urn box is composed of a recognition device selecting an urn; a control unit controlling the operations of each device, based on a pre-input calculation; a power transmitting unit(B) transmitting the rotary power generated in a power feeding device through a power transmitting belt(41) to a driving shaft wheel(42); a transferring device unit(A) including a gear belt(30) at which belt-shaft wheels(31) are laid under a predetermined position of a plurality of wheel supporting rods(32,32'), of which a couple is separated, respectively, wound in an endless track, and guide rails(34,34') fixed to front ends of the wheel supporting rods; the urn box including guide wheels(24,24') guided along the guide rails and rotated with centering on wheel connecting units(23,23'), wherein the wheel connecting units moves left and right, centering on rotary units(25,25'), and a linear gear(22) mounted at the lower center and engaged with the gear belt; and connecting rings(21) mutually connecting the urn boxes.
