PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug socket for service water for easily installing and removing a check valve part with a water hammer relieving mechanism. SOLUTION: While the check valve part 18 with the water hammer relieving mechanism is arranged between a hot water intake port 64 and a hot water side resin pipe 7 of a temperature controller 10 housed in a faucet body, the check valve part 19 with the water hammer relieving function is arranged between a water intake port 63 and a water side resin pipe 8, and is constituted so as to obtain water or temperature-adjusted mixed hot and cold water. The check valve part 18 with the water hammer relieving mechanism is formed as a cartridge system having a case 20 fittable between the hot water intake port 64 and the hot water side resin pipe 7, a water hammer relieving member and a check valve 21 preincorporated into this case. The check valve part 19 with the water side water hammer relieving mechanism is formed as a cartridge system having a case body 20' fittable between the water intake port 63 and the water side resin pipe 8, a water hammer relieving member and a check valve 21' preincorporated into this case body.
