PURPOSE: A watch equipped with a lighting device is provided to allow a user to view the number in the watch even in a dark place by installing the light emitting device in the watch. CONSTITUTION: A watch equipped with a lighting device includes a number displaying section(10). The number displaying section(10) is made of transparent material in order to allow light to pass through. The number displaying section(10) has a transparent rectangular plate(11). A shielding film(12) is provided in order to shield light from an exterior. When light is incident into the transparent rectangular plate(11), light is refracted by making contact with a space section so that a number formed in the number displaying section(10) is clearly revealed. The watch includes a body having an hour hand(20), a minute hand(30) and a second hand(40). Lighting devices(22,32) are installed in the hour hand(20) and minute hand(30). Optical paths(25,35) are provided to guide light radiated from the lighting devices(22,32) into the number displaying section(10).
