PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely grasp the position of a streetcar without using a conventional mechanical trolley contactor. SOLUTION: This system consists of an onboard device and a central device. The onboard device installed on the streetcar detects a present position of the streetcar traveling on the predetermined track by receiving the predetermined signal from the GPS system and transmits the detected position information toward the predetermined center. The central device installed on the predetermined center grasps the position of the streetcar on the predetermined track based on the position information transmitted from the onboard device.
