PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, a method of printing, a computer program, and a computer system that can reduce a consumption of ink. SOLUTION: This printer comprises a print head movable in a main scanning direction and a printing medium conveying means for conveying a printing medium, and performs the printing by ejecting ink from the print head. An advanced end in the ends of a printing medium which is conveyed by the printing medium conveying means is detected at a plurality of points to obtain the inclination of the printing medium. A starting position for ejecting ink from the print head moving in the main scanning direction, a finishing position therefor, or both of them are varied based on the inclination.
