PURPOSE: A glass tile using waste glass and its preparation method are provided, to improve the smoothness, the abrasion resistance and the strength by a simple method and to recycle the waste glass. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of mixing at least one selected from the group consisting of waste glass, ceramic enamel and frit, and pulverizing the mixture to the size of 1-40 micrometers; mixing the pulverized glass with 0.2-10 wt% of an organic dispersant and organic binder which is at least one selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol and poly(vinyl alcohol); spray drying the mixture; pouring the dried one into a tile frame and press molding it with a pressure of 300-400 kg/cm2; and fusing the molded glass tile at a temperature of 600-950 deg.C. Preferably at least one face of the molded glass tile is printed or coated with enamel before it is fused.
