PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optoelectronic device and electronic equipment capable of sufficiently secure an area for forming an identification code even if reducing an area not directly contributing to displaying, and to provide a method therefor for manufacturing the optoelectronic device. SOLUTION: In a TFT (thin film transistor) array substrate 10 of a liquid crystal device 100, an identification code 40 to be read from the back of the TFT array substrate 10 is provided on an area faced to a counter substrate 20.
