PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupler for a floor panel, which allows the floor panels to be coupled together in a state in which a fixed gap for allowing good drainage without retention, on the floor panels, of rainwater, etc., falling onto the floor panels is formed between the adjacent floor panels. SOLUTION: Characteristically, this coupler is equipped with a base plate part 2, and four fitting protrusions 3 which are erected on the plate part 2 and fitted into recesses provided on the backsides of the floor panels, respectively, so as to prevent the displacements of the four floor panels; and when the plate part 2 is arranged in such a manner as to receive four floor panel corner parts from below, a plurality of ribs 5, which are sandwiched between side wall surfaces of the two respective adjacent floor panels of the four ones so as to regulate a part between the floor panels in such a manner that an interval equivalent to the thickness of the rib 5 is maintained between the floor panels, are provided on two virtual lines orthogonal to each other, which are drawn on a surface of the plate part 2, respectively.
