RECYCLED BRICKS USING SEWAGE SLUDGE ASH

摘要

PURPOSE: Provided are recycled bricks having high strength, low manufacturing cost and pollution prevention by using sewage sludge ash as a main material and waste ALC(autoclaved lightweight concrete) or sand instead of a conventional additive. CONSTITUTION: The recycled bricks are manufactured by mixing more than 85% of sewage sludge ash comprising mainly silica and alumina, as a main material, with less than 15% of ALC or sand, pressing, and sintering at 900-1000deg.C for 4hrs. The resultant bricks have 150-470kgf/cm2 of compression strength and low water absorption.
