PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance small-sized portable axially driven vibration body. SOLUTION: The axially driven vibration body 10 has a drive element 20 which is formed from the cylindrical drive coil 12 fixed to one side end of a cylindrical frame 11, the cup-shaped yoke 21 comprising a magnetic material coupled with the drive coil 12 magnetically through a gap and a columnar permanent magnet 22 having a pole piece 23 coaxially arranged to the leading end thereof and loaded with a weight 28. A shaft 29 to which the drive element 20 is fixed is supported by the bearings provided to both side ends of the frame 11 and the drive element 20 is axially vibrated at a frequency of 100-160 Hz by a pair of coil springs 24 and 25.
