<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner capable of being used in an electrostatic image developing type copying machine and printer of the pressure-heat fixing system, which are required for realizing low temp. fixing or high speed copying. SOLUTION: The toner contains a microcapsule toner particles, each of which is composed of a core material and an outer shell material covering the core. Each microcapsule toner particle contains, as a binder resin for the core material, an olefinic copolymer having a ring structure, which has a glass transition temp. of >=-20 deg.C and of <60 deg.C, and a number average molecular weight of 100 to 20,000 and/or, as a binder resin for the outer shell, an olefinic copolymer having a ring structure, which has a glass transition temp. of 60 to 180 deg.C and a number average molecular weight of 1,000 to 100,000.</p> |
