<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplex communication system through power supply network for reducing weight by omitting a wire harness and improving reliability without an influence of noise and the like on nodes of a control system, information system and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The multiplex communication system through power supply network, in which multiplex communication is carried out between each of a plurality of nodes 6 to 10, includes a plurality of power lines 5a to 5d and 4a to 4c corresponding to the plurality of nodes and connected to the nodes, and power distribution units 3a to 3c for distributing the power supply of a body-system node 1 of a vehicle into the plurality of power lines. Each node has power supply multiple circuits 11a to 11e. in which a multiplex signal transmitted to the other node is multiplexed to the power line connected to an own node, and a multiplex signal received from the other node is extracted from a power supply voltage of the power line connected to the own node.
