PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a casting-cutting coating material composition improved in drying characteristics and resistance to a cutting agent, and to provide a casting-cutting method reduced in man-hour by using the casting-cutting coating composition. SOLUTION: There are provided the casting-cutting coating material composition which comprises (1) 8-20 mass% of an amine-modified epoxy resin having a number average molecular weight of 5,500-15,000, (2) 15-30 mass% of an extender pigment and/or a color pigment, (3) 1-10 mass% of a rust-preventive pigment, and (4) 50-70 mass% of a solvent, wherein the amine-modified epoxy resin is modified with a monoalkanolamine and a dialkanolamine in the total amount of 1-8 mass pts. based on 100 mass pts. of the raw material epoxy resin, and 100 mass pts. of the solvent comprises 20-30 mass pts. of propylene glycol monomethyl ether and 30-50 mass pts. of toluene, and the casting-cutting method in which the casting-cutting coating composition is used.
