PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can set a desired photography direction, enables liquid crystal display to be viewed at an easy-to-see angle, and never varies in overall size with a rotational position. SOLUTION: A camera body 5 has a top surface and a bottom surface and 1st and 2nd flanks which face each other so as to connect the top surface and bottom surface. The bottom surface is made flat so that the camera device can be placed on the top of a desk, or the like. The top surface is cut in a nearly U-shaped and a camera part 8 having a lens storage part 7 is supported in the cut part by a horizontal support shaft 6 positioned at a nearly center position in the thickness direction of a display part so that a lens part rotates to the 1st and 2nd flanks. On the 1st flank of the camera body 5, an LCD 2 is arranged which displays an image photographed by the camera part 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
