PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition which is excellent in impact resistance and gives a molded article excellent in surface appearance, rigidity and weld strength, with little warpage, and one also having excellent flame retardancy. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin, in an amount of 100 pts.wt., consisting of (A) 10-95 wt.% of an aromatic polycarbonate resin, (B) 3-50 wt.% of an ABS based rubber-toughened resin, and (C) 2-40 wt.% of a styrenic resin consisting of units comprising an aromatic vinyl compound and a specified vinyl compound [the total of component (A), component (B) and component (C) being 100 wt.%] is blended with (D) 1-150 pts.wt. of glass flakes of those having a length of 700μm or longer account for 12% or less by weight. A flame retardant (E) in an amount of 5-40 pts.wt. may be blended with 100 pts.wt. of the thermoplastic resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
