PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatically applying termination control to recording of an analog signal by surely detecting a transition point of music at analog signal recording from a digital sound source or an end point of time of all music data. SOLUTION: A recording termination method at analog signal recording where a digital signal from a digital sound source in a digital audio apparatus is once converted into an analog signal and the analog signal is recorded, configured such that a recorded side circuit 2 detects a change in category code information of a channel status in a sub frame of IEC60958 signals of the digital sound source read by a reproducing side circuit 1 and track number information TNO in SUBQ data of user data and a recording control circuit 9 automatically performs end control for the end or the pause of the analog signal recording.
