<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly determine the propriety of a correlation rule as to an interaction between proteins. <P>SOLUTION: Total number N of the interactions of the proteins having a feature group a and the proteins having a feature group b, total numberαof the proteins having the feature group a, total numberβof the proteins having the feature group b, total numberγof the proteins out of the proteins having the feature group a interacting with the proteins having the feature group b, and total numberδof the proteins out of the proteins having the feature group b interacting with the proteins having the feature group a are extracted from a memory means accumulated with an integrated data, and a score S for indicating the propriety of the rule for showing the interaction between of the proteins having the feature group a with the proteins having the feature group b is provided by mathematical expression 8 as shown in expression (I).
