PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical lead storage battery which solves such problems that, although it is easy to put high pressure on an element, a separator can not maintain enough repulsion force due to the excessive pressure to exert an expected performance, or that the separator should be broken due to complex force of tension and compression at winding up or be likely to short-circuit when over-discharged.
