<p>An optical arrangement comprising a light source emitting coherent light, and an optical lattice (1) with a plurality of successive parallel diffraction structures (3) having a periodical distance corresponding to a lattice period. Said structures form a reflecting layer consisting of a reflecting base layer (2) and a transparent protective layer (7) covering said base layer. The diffraction structures are disposed on a carrier (2) forming the base layer (4) and are respectively provided with a blaze flank (5) which is substantially inclined at a littrow angle with respect to the base surface (4) and a counter flank (6). The thicknesses of the protective layers (8,9) on the blaze flank (5) and the counter flank (6) are selected independently from each other, whereby the lattice performance, i.e. either adsorption or the diffraction efficiency of the optical lattice (1), is optimized. According to the application, an optical lattice (1) is created with low requirements in terms of the light source or an optical lattice is created which is affected as little as possible by incident light. The invention also relates to a method of production of an optical lattice associated with said optical arrangement.</p> |
