<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burning protector which can extend a temperature range in which a motor can operate. <P>SOLUTION: This burning protector for a motor has a motor circuit 4, which applies a current to a rotor winding 3, and bimetal switches 1 and 2 which open the contact thereof to cut off a current applied by the motor circuit 4 according to the temperature rise of the rotor winding 3. Two bimetal switches 1 and 2 are provided between the motor circuit 4 and the rotor winding 3 and the respective bimetal switches 1 and 2 have approximately the same current values at which the respective contacts of the bimetal switches are opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
