The disk brake lining has a carrier plate (1) with a number of mounted friction bodies (2), secured rigidly by rivets (4). A spacer (3) is between the base (9) of each friction body and the carrier plate, to form a given gap between them. The spacer has a smaller cross section profile than the friction body base, to form air channels (6) to cool the friction bodies. The spacer is recessed into the base surface of the friction body and/or the carrier plate.
