PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a different antislipping effect on a bound material and prevent breaking of a strap by the locking teeth inside a locking head, by selecting the surface of use of the strap in using a binding instrument for wires, cables, and the like. SOLUTION: The strap made of a synthetic resin is provided, and the front face of the strap has mountain-shaped rising parts formed across the whole length in the longitudinal direction of the strap, and the back face of the strap is formed into a smooth surface.
