PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to prevent the foodstuff heated by the electromagnetic wave from being dried, by applying moisture into the cavity during cooking. CONSTITUTION: A water tank(16), a water passage(17) and a vibrator(18) are installed outside of a cavity, and a vapor steam inlet path(15) is arranged on the vibrator in such a manner that the vapor steam enters into the cavity. A steam vapor protective protrusion(19) is arranged outside of the vapor steam inlet path so as to prevent leakage of the vapor steam. A steam vapor protective wall is installed in a supplementary door in such a manner that the steam vapor protective wall is engaged with the steam vapor protective protrusion. A blade is mounted in the steam vapor protective wall so as to allow the steam vapor to smoothly flow into the cavity.
