<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable seat belt anchor that has the speedy movement of an anchor point, has a simple mechanism, and can be manufactured inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: This movable seat belt anchor 10 comprises a base 13 having a rail 12, a slider 15 that is slidably disposed on the rail and has the anchor point of the seat belt, a motor M and a reduction gear G fixed to the base, and a rotating base 17 fixed to an output shaft 16 of the reduction gear. The seat belt anchor 10 also comprises a rotating arm 18 disposed in the rotating base rotatably in a predetermined play range, a link 22 of which the one end is turnably connected to the slider 15 and the other end is rotatably connected to the free end of the rotating arm 18, a spring for energizing the slider 15 always upwardly, and a stopper mechanism S for constraining the slider 15 at the lower end of the rail 12 against the spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
