PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the heating time and to attain energy-saving by detecting the weight of food placed on a turntable-less food placing bed. SOLUTION: This heating cooker includes a heating chamber 2 for storing food 4, a heating means 17 formed by a magnetron 5 for heating the food 4 and a rotating antenna 7, and the food placing bed 3 for placing the food 4. A weight detecting means 20 is provided below the food placing bed 3 positioned outside of the rotating range of the rotating antenna 7. The weight information and position information on the food 4 placed on the food placing bed 3 are detected by the weight detecting means 20 to control the heating means 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
