<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device for vehicle adding management information of a facility. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises a memory means for storing position data and type data of a facility, a present position detection means for detecting the present position of the vehicle, a selection means for selecting facility type, and a facility survey means for surveying facilities of the selected type around the present position based on the position data and type data of the facility, the present position of the vehicle and the type of the selected facility.
