PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape affixing machine capable of shortening the affixing time per operation, and affixing a cut adhesive tape to a surface other than a corner on a tip side even when objects are continuously carried at a high speed. SOLUTION: Labels 59 and 61 which are cut adhesive tapes whose non- adhesive surfaces are sucked and held by air suction holes 21a-21i in a rotating side surface 19 of a suction rotary drum 17 are moved at the same speed as the carrying speed at the affixing position 58 of a carrying passage to carry an article 55 by a conveyor 53 so as to pass a position 60 opposite to the affixing position 58 in the direction with adhesive surfaces of the adhesive tapes 59 and 61 facing the carrying passage, and the suction force is stopped, air is blown to release the suction and holding. After the tip of the article 55 passes the affixing position 58, tips of the cut adhesive tapes 59 and 61 reach the opposite position 60. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
