A metal hand grip, or handle, is made from perforated metal bent into a tube and clamped between solid components. For a door handle the grip is clamped between the inner end of the handle and an end cap, via an internal threaded shaft. The ends of the perforated grip locate on stepped profiles at each end. The tubular grip has a thickness of about 1 mm and can also be welded in place, if the inner and outer components are also metal. |
