An endless papermaking press felt (10) comprises a base (20) and a batt layer (30) intertwiningly integrated with the base (20). The batt layer (30) comprises a wet paper web side layer (31) and a machine side layer (32) formed on an outer surface and inner surface of the base (20) respectively. The base (20) is manufactured from belt-shaped partial base bodies (22), which are connected to one another in side-by-side relationship. The press felt (10) can be manufactured easily and at reduced cost. <IMAGE>
