Preparation of epoxidized polyalkenylenes

Method for the production of epoxidized polyalkenylenes (I) with a number-average molecular weight of 500-50000 and an epoxide oxygen content of 1-25 wt.% by reaction with 15-90% hydrogen peroxide and 1-3C carboxylic acid, in which phosphonic acids or their derivatives are used as catalysts and there is no further addition of organic solvent or water.
