PURPOSE: A device for charging an illumination power of an iris recognition system for a PC is provided to obtain well-lighted illumination by rapidly refreshing a discharged capacitor which supplies a power for emitting an illumination of a PC iris recognition system having a restricted power supply using a USB. CONSTITUTION: In an iris recognition device for a PC using a USB, a boosting unit(401) boosts a restricted input power into a predetermined voltage. A charging unit(402) receives an electric current from a boosted output power and an input power of the boosting unit(401) and charges the electric current to a capacitor. If an illumination approval trigger signal is inputted, an illumination unit(403) receives a power charged in the charging unit(402) and is radiated. The charging unit(402) connects a constant voltage diode to an input power terminal of the boosting unit(401) and a capacitor plus terminal, and supplies an electric current when the both ends voltages of the capacitor are dropped under a restricted voltage of the USB.
