PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the technology concerned with automatic diary communication that can store the relation between date/time and a location/facility name as a travel record by utilizing the function of a car navigation system. SOLUTION: The body 2 of the car navigation system connected to a communication device 1 of a mobile phone turns a travel record mode to on to store a travel record by linking time with the names of a road and a cross road. When turning to a travel record displaying mode, the record is displayed as a route with time on a table type and on a map. The display can be viewed by the displaying part of the navigation system, and data is transferred to a personal computer 3 via a public line 4 and a modem 31 by the communication device 1 of the connected mobile phone and then displaying and other processing can be done.
