PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stroboscope to be charged even during the time when the other actions of a camera are being executed, and to quickly charge it, by providing plural modes that the charge currents of a capacitor are mutually different. SOLUTION: When a harmonic signal (voltage signal) VB is given, a stroboscope charge circuit 2 is actuated and the capacitor for a flash C1 is charged. Since a transistor Q2 is turned on when a control signal CTL is H, a transistor Q1 is also turned on. Then, the capacitor C1 is charged by the normal charge current through the transistor Q1. Besides, since the transistor Q2 is turned off and the transistor Q1 is also turned off when the control signal CTL is L, the charge current becomes low because it is passed through a resistance R1. Then, the capacitor C1 is charged by the low current. In the normal charge mode, the capacitor C1 is charged by the high current of several-ampere. In the low current mode, it is charged by the current of several tens (mA) which does not exert an effect on the action of the camera, for example. |
